Introduction Dive
If
you have never experienced scuba diving and you are not yet sure if
you will like diving or not, do not book a Diving Course, but just take
an Introduction Dive either in our pool or straight in the sea.The Experienced Diving Instructor will help you with this and he will give you a short lecture and then give you all the equipment required. He will then take you for an introduction dive where you will be under his great care to enjoy yourself breathing under water and having the first experience in a completely different world. It is then that you can decide whether you want to take a full course or not. So feel free and come for a try dive. |
Free Try Dives
| IF YOU DO A TRY DIVE AND THEN DECIDE FOR A FULL OPEN
WATER COURSE, THEN, THE TRY DIVE WILL BE FREE OF CHARGE. |
PADI Open Water Diver Course
|
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is
the first course (and in our opinion the most important one) within
the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (P.A.D.I.). We
give great attention and care to this course as during this time you
will be hearing new things for the first time and it is important
that you get them right from the very beginning. For this reason,
as far as possible, WE WILL DO YOUR COURSE IN YOUR OWN LANGUAGE. We
believe that in this way you will surely find it easier and eventually
safer. We keep the number of students very low as we believe in individual
attention.
Diving Training Pool All equipment is included in the price except for the book which
we recommend to everyone to buy it at home and read it before coming
over. This will save spending the precious holiday time reading the
book and the book itself will also serve as a reference for the future.
You can still choose to buy it or borrow it for free from our school. |
PADI Open Water - Referral Course
|
Very often, many people go on a summer holiday and they
get a chance to experience scuba diving in nice and warm waters. Not
being prepared to take the full course, they will go back home and
want to start the course in their own hometown. The only problem might
be that it is too cold to do the complete course in their own country. |
PADI Advanced Open Water Course
| This is a follow up to the Padi Open Water Diver
Course and unlike the first course, it is more diving than theory. It
consists of 5 open water dives, two of which have to be an Underwater
Navigation Dive and a Deep Dive. The other three can be any from the
list of elective dives. The diver is intended to expose himself to as
many different experiences as possible so as to gain more experience
and confidence. The student is asked to read the chapter concerning
the chosen dives from the "Adventures in Diving" Manual. This,
together with a short classroom session given by the Instructor before
each dive, is the only theory involved. The course can be finished in
two or three days and is full of fun and nice dives. The use of books, full equipment, transport to and from the dive sites as well as certification are all included in the price. If you are already certified as an Advanced Diver, we offer more courses. Please ask for more details. |
Emergency First Response
| This is not a diving course but a comprehensive course
First Aid Course including Expired Air and CPR. Lectures are done making
use of video or DVDs and a demonstration are done on a Resusicitation
model and helped by a Medical Emergency Manual which is ideal to keep
as a reference book too. |
PADI Rescue Diver Course
| Candidates for this course must be Padi Advanced
Divers and must be in possession of a EFR (Emergency First Response)
certificate. This course is very important and useful not only for those
who intend to make diving their profession but also by any diver who
wants to be safer and who wants to be able to offer help to others in
need. This course will develop skills and knowledge of how to carry out
diver rescue as well as avoiding accidents, life saving techniques and
managing accidents. There are 6 water training sessions relating to
self rescue as well as rescuing others. |
PADI Divemaster Course
| In order to do this course one must be a certified
Rescue Diver with at least 20 logged dives, but before certification
a total of 60 dives must have been logged. So ideally, we suggest that
one does not rush to do this course before he is confident and experienced
as we believe that experience counts. So if one wants to do the course
and does not have close to 60 dives, he should take it in at least 6
to 8 weeks so that the experience is built up as he goes along. For
more details, please send in your diving C.V. and we will get back to
you. This course is very important and has to be taken with responsibility
as it is the first course in leadership and considered to be the gateway
to a Diving Professional. |
PADI Assistant Instructor
| To do this course, one has to be a certified Padi
Divemaster and clients wanting to register for this course should write
to us and send their diving C.V. and we will be able to give more details. |
SPECIALTIY COURSES
| If you are already certified as an Advanced Diver,
we offer more courses, referred to as Speciality Courses. In these courses
which range from Deep Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diver,
Nitrox Diver, etc. one will get more experience and will go more into
details regarding these specialities. This will definitely help to make
you a more professional diver. These are a must for those who want to
advance in their diving career or just want to be better and safer divers. |
Deep Diver Speciality
| This course consists of 4 dives and will give you
experience of dives over the 30 metre level under the safe guidance
of the instructor. You will also learn to monitor your airconsumption
and get more familiar with the Decompression and the effect of Narcosis
and how the latter will effect your I.Q, at these depths. |
Peek Performance Buoancy Speciality
| In my opinion this is a very useful course as good
buoyancy will make you a safe diver besides making your dives much more
enjoyable as well as keeping your air consumption lower. You will learn
the techniques how to maintain excellent buoyancy. It is a 2 dive course. |
Night Diver Speciality
| This is a 3 dive course and done in 3 days in which
you will learn how to dive and find your way in the dark. You will enjoy
each dive as during these dives you will see creatures that are not
normally visible during the day dives as most fish feed at night. The
first dive is started just before dark so as to make it more easy for
those who are doing their first night dive. |
Wreck Diver Speciality
| This is a must for those who love to dive on wrecks
as in the 4 dives of this course you will be taught how to dive safely
in and around wrecks and what to do and not . This is great fun and
very popular. |
Nitrox Diver Speciality
| Nitrox is a mixture where the percentage of Nitrogen
is reduced by adding pure oxygen to normal air. This will allow us to
dive longer and is very useful for repeated dives. The higher percentage
of oxygen will limit the depths that can be dived with Nitrox. All information
about mixtures, how long and how deep a dive can be, will be covered
by this course which will include 2 dives using Nitrox. In this course
the diver will learn to use 32% and 36% Nitrox mixes with more details
regarding the decompression and the oxygen toxicity tables. |
Multilevel Diver Speciality
On this 2 dive course, you will learn how to plan your dive in a way that when diving a site with different depths, you can lengthen your dive time and make your dive even safer. You will be taught how to better use the tables, wheel and dive computor. |
Underwater Navigator Speciality
This again is a very important course of 3 dives as underwater navigations is very useful during all dives. You will learn how to be able to navigate by using observation skills as well as the use of a compass will render your diving more safe and enjoyable. |
Boat Diver Speciality
Nowadays, most dives are done from boats and it is good to know your way around boats and what are the normal procedures on boats dives. These 2 dives will be done in one day which will surely be a great day to remember. |
