Overview

Welcome to Malta Airport!! We hope that you enjoyed your flight and that you are all set to relax and enjoy your holiday with us. You have not yet however, arrived at your final destination, the beautiful Island of Gozo.

Gozo is situated to the north-west of Malta and the transfer from the airport to the Malta-Gozo car ferry at Ċirkewwa is usually about a 45 minute drive depending on traffic. The Malta/Gozo car ferry runs every 45 minutes from 5am until midnight and about every hour and a half at night depending on the season. Visit www.gozochannel.com for timetable information. The channel crossing takes around 30 minutes and once you are in Gozo, you are a 10 minute drive from the Gozo Diving Centre and usually a maximum 15 minutes away from any place on the island.

When you board the car ferry traveling from Malta to Gozo, there is no need to buy a ferry ticket. You will buy the round-trip ticket when you are traveling back from Gozo to Malta on your return. The ticket is 4.65 Euro per person.

Transfer Options

We offer you two options regarding your airport transfer: a Split or a Direct Transfer. Both options can accommodate single guests, families and groups using either a car, minivan or bus.

If you choose a Split Transfer, your driver will collect you at the airport and drop you at the Gozo Channel Ferry Terminal at Ċirkewwa . You will board the ferry with your baggage unassisted. Once the ferry has arrived in Gozo, another driver will collect you at the Gozo harbour terminal at Mgarr and drive you to your Hotel, Villa or Farmhouse.

If you choose a Direct Transfer, your driver will take you all of the way from the airport to your accommodation on Gozo accompanying you on the ferry crossing. Of course, it is a bit more expensive but much more comfortable especially if you intend to travel with heavy baggage. Of course we can arrange the same trip back to the airport at the end of your stay.
